Metal in its full glory in Green Bay Wisconsin

Coming to Wisconsin on August 9th is a metal lineup sure to please all the Green Bay head bangers. Liquid 8 will host the following bands: Anal Blast, Eternal Silence, Sentenced to Die, Dichotic, Scofflaw, Praise the Fear, A Sum of One, etc. The names are so important when it comes to metal. I know what its like to be in a band that has a crazy name. My band's name couldn't even be announced on the radio.

The promo photo (If they have one,) has to show how tough the band mates are. You know the drill.

Michael Buble plays his super smooth jazz at The Resch Center

Michael Buble managed to nab two awards at the fourth annual Canadian Smooth Jazz awards. He walked away with vocalist of the year and best original composition for his famous song "Everything." I don't know if anyone actually listens to smooth jazz. Smooth Jazz is the music you hear while some cute hygienist is cleaning your teeth. Real jazz is the music you are proud to say you listen too. Smooth Jazz is the music you try to think over when the co-worker in the cubicle next to yours decides to turn up their radio. Mike plays Green Bay's Resch Center on April 23rd. The Resch Center ticket holders for that show are a range of young and old. Perhaps the snow will melt by the time Mr. Buble's dreamy smooth Jazz vocal styling drifts across the Resch Center and into the ears of all those Smooth Jazz fans.

Sarah Evans at The Resch Center

On October 20th, at the fabulous Resch Center, Sarah Evans will be performing her hits. Sarah started out singing traditional country music, but then tweaked her product to sound more like the pop/country drivel you hear on FM106. It sounds like a case of product testing, and then hitting the big time. Evans released her CD, Feels Like Home through Cracker Barrel stores. According to Wikipedia "In 1991, Cracker Barrel instituted a policy requiring employees to display "normal heterosexual values which have been the foundation of families in our society." During the 1990s Cracker Barrel reportedly fired at least 11 gay workers. The company refused to change their policy in the face of protest demonstrations by gay rights groups." It would seem that Sarah really doesn't care how she gets her hits into the country crap-stream. It's a smart move for her to play in the very conservative Green Bay Wisconsin. This is the top half of Sarah's head.
